Secure Petroleum Storage
Our cutting-edge storage facilities provide a safe and efficient environment for your petroleum products. With strict safety protocols and advanced monitoring systems, we ensure the highest level of security and environmental protection.

At Būtingė Oil Terminal, we operate tank storage facilities in the Lithuania, providing essential storage and handling services to oil companies. Our tank farms, which include both above-ground and some underground tanks, are designed to support the smooth discharge of petroleum products into heavy-duty oil tankers and pipelines. We offer extensive industrial amenities that store oil and petroleum products before they are transported to end users or further distributed to other storage facilities.
Our tank farms are strategically located near key transportation routes, allowing ocean liners to easily discharge their cargo. Some of our facilities are directly connected to pipelines, facilitating efficient product transfer via rails, barges, or heavy-duty oil tankers. Most of our farms are equipped with heavy-duty oil tankers that transport products to petrol stations and other end users.
The petroleum products stored at our facilities come from refineries and are ready for delivery to customers. Our tank farms are modern and equipped with various types of tanks, pipelines, and gantries, offering a high level of automation and enhancing the efficiency of depot operations.
Safety and environmental health are top priorities at Būtingė Oil Terminal. Our tank farm management ensures a safe operating environment (HSE) to prevent product leakage and minimize environmental impact, protecting both soil and aquatic habitats.
Our tank farms also support commercial strategies for oil companies, particularly those in Russia and the Lithuania, leasing our facilities for immediate dispatch or holding large quantities of their products in our storage tanks. These agreements allow for contract-based sales or future deliveries to prospective clients.
In addition to our facilities in the Lithuania, Būtingė Oil Terminal operates tank storage in the Houston area and the Upper Baltic Sea region, specifically in the Primorsk Commercial Sea Port. These locations allow for the simultaneous loading of multiple vessel tankers, with deadweights ranging from 50,000 to 150,000 tons, and loading capacities up to 6,500 tons per hour. Our Rotterdam port also facilitates multiple tanker loadings with capacities of up to 4,500 and 6,500 tons per hour.
As global population and economic growth drive the demand for energy and petrochemicals, a shift in the geographic balance between production and consumption has emerged. This has led to increased transportation of oil, gas, and petrochemicals across greater distances. Changing markets, climate change policies, geopolitical shifts, and the development of new energy sources have all contributed to the growing need for storage and handling of bulk liquids and gases at key locations along global trade routes.
Determining the best locations for our terminals requires a long-term vision, aligning with global geo-economic developments while maintaining the flexibility to respond to ever-changing product flows. At Būtingė Oil Terminal, our leadership and success depend on excelling in three key areas:
