Health, Safety, and the Environment
At Būtingė Oil Terminal, we adhere to the highest standards of industrial, fire, and occupational safety, as regulated by both national and international bodies. Our commitment to safety is reflected in a comprehensive set of measures designed to prevent and manage potential emergencies, ensuring the well-being of our personnel and the surrounding community. By implementing these measures, we significantly reduce risks and safeguard both human lives and the environment.
To ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, we have established a dedicated Fire Safety Department. This department has developed and enforced internal fire safety protocols that cover all aspects of our operations, including employee safety, production processes, and facility maintenance. All new employees undergo mandatory fire safety training, which is conducted by specialized fire safety experts and department heads, with regular safety briefings and foundational courses.
Our Occupational Safety Management System is continuously improving to keep up with best practices. We have implemented the Hazard Identification, Evaluation, and Management Regulations, which play a crucial role in minimizing occupational hazards that could threaten the health and safety of our employees. This system is based on government-established occupational safety policies and aligns with the Labor Code of the United States to ensure the highest standards of safety at all levels of operation.
